基督教社会联盟 Systemwide 第九条 & DHR评估 by Cozen O'Connor (瞒审查)
To strengthen its systems of care and compliance, in 2022 and 2023 the 基督教社会联盟 engaged Cozen O'Connor to conduct a systemwide assessment of its 第九条 and Discrimination, Harassment and Retaliation (DHR) programs. The report identifies core observations and recommendations for improvements at both the system and university levels. The 基督教社会联盟 remains committed to making the meaningful and impactful changes needed to transform our 第九条 and other anti-discrimination policies, 程序, 基础设施, culture and climate within the Chancellor's Office and our 23 universities.

The Cozen O'Connor Institutional Response Group conducted interviews and campus visits, in addition to gathering feedback through surveys and a dedicated email to conduct this assessment and develop recommendations.

6月27日, 2022, the Joint Legislative Audit Committee approved an audit of the California State University (基督教社会联盟) system’s response to sexual harassment complaint against employees (executive, faculty, and staff) at the Chancellor’s Office and Fresno State, San Jose State, and Sonoma State universities. The California State Auditor released their audit report on Tuesday, July 18, 2023. While not the subject of the audit, the other 20 基督教社会联盟 campuses, including Dominguez Hills, were visited by the State Auditors to learn the number and disposition of sexual harassment complaints against employees over the past 5 years. These numbers were used by the State Auditor to provide context into the Chancellor’s Office role as it relates to the campuses. With that context, the Auditor determined that “the Chancellor’s Office must take a more active approach to providing oversight” over the 23 基督教社会联盟 campuses.
This finding of the State Auditor matches the finding of the 瞒审查 that the Chancellor’s Office needs to be more proactive in ensuring matters related to 第九条 and protected status discrimination and harassment be addressed in a timely, 一致的, and equitable manner.
